Liz Tomeo MA, LPC, NCC, LBS

I was born and raised in New Jersey where I was the youngest of 8 children.  Following high school, I majored in Social Work at Albright College in Reading.  After college, I moved to the Boston area before returning to Berks County and receiving my Masters of Art in Counseling from Alvernia College.

I hold accreditation as a Pennsylvania Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Behavioral Specialist, and a Nationally Certified Counselor.  Working in the field of social services for about 20 years, I have provided behavioral health services to individuals and families from age 5 years old and up. In addition to seeing clients at Emotional Wellness, I also work for a non-profit managed care agency serving primarily Berks County residents. Currently I am honored to serve on the board of the Pennsylvania Association of Licensed Professional Counselors and am a member of the American Counseling Association.

On the personal side, I am the mother of two children, a son who is a student at Temple University and daughter in high school.  Additionally, I am the owner of 4 dogs, 2 cats, and a bearded dragon.  In my spare time, I enjoy yoga, spending time with friends and family, and playing the guitar.
